Home to a local artist for over 20 years, The Gallery was an easy name for us to come up with. Gorgeous paintings, funky statues, quirky illustrations, and artistic touches like making the water tank pipes blend into the wall, will entertain you while you’re here living in an actual artist’s abode.
This two-bedroom apartment has a double bed in the master bedroom and a twin bed in the upstairs bedroom. There’s one bathroom with a shower and the kitchen is equipped for cooking basic meals.
On Paseo Colon in a beautiful turn-of-the-century building which once had a bakery on the ground floor where there is now a deli, The Gallery is in a great location. Plaza Dorrego is two blocks one way, and Puerto Madero is two blocks the other way. You’ll find plenty to do day or night without ever needing to take a cab or bus. Though when you want to head off to other parts of the city, there are several important bus lines with stops just below us and you can pretty much always catch a cab right out in front.

Methods of Payment
Cash – We prefer that you pay in cash (US dollars) at the moment of check-in. There are no transaction fees or banking fees when you pay in cash, so this is the cheapest route.
Wire Transfer – You can pay by wire transfer to a US or European bank account. In this case, there is a $10 US banking fee to be paid by the renter in addition to the full rent. This should be paid before your arrival to ensure that it has reached our bank account by the time you are checking in.
Credit Cards – Credit cards can be used through PayPal. There is an additional 5% transaction fee charged by PayPal that will be added on to the rental amount. If you’d like to use your credit card or pay through PayPal, you will need to let us know in advance so that we can send the request (rent + 5%) to you before you leave home. You’ll have to pay this before leaving home because PayPal blocks access when you try to use your account while overseas.
We ask for a $100 USD deposit for short-term bookings. Please see our Rental Terms and Conditions for further details.

I lived in this apartment for 4 months, and I loved it… Beautifully furnished and decorated, and really cosy and unique. The pictures do not even come close to showing off all the cool touches that have been put on everything. An artist’s space, for sure. It feels like home. You are guaranteed to leave this place with good memories!

Thanks for letting us stay in The Gallery for our last few days in Buenos Aires …it’s a great space, roomy, comfortable, beautifully decorated …I’ve spent the morning recommending it to work colleagues, so you may have more disorganised Aussies coming sometime soon!
