Bohemian, soulful and loved, we say The Loft is our romantic vacation rental because it seems to attract all the honeymooners. It’s an intimate space, the soft light and vibrant colors, and the cozy upstairs bedroom, remind you that you’re on vacation.
The Loft is on the second floor of a turn-of-the-century building on Paseo Colon, a busy street with several important bus lines making it easy to get around to other parts of the city. Our guests love the bird cage elevator and funky layout of what is called a chorizo-style building.
Most suitable for a couple, three can comfortably sleep here with the third person occupying the futon in the living room. And since there are two bathrooms, there’s a bit more privacy if there are three of you.

Methods of Payment
Cash – We prefer that you pay in cash (US dollars) at the moment of check-in. There are no transaction fees or banking fees when you pay in cash, so this is the cheapest route.
Wire Transfer – You can pay by wire transfer to a US or European bank account. In this case, there is a $10 US banking fee to be paid by the renter in addition to the full rent. This should be paid before your arrival to ensure that it has reached our bank account by the time you are checking in.
Credit Cards – Credit cards can be used through PayPal. There is an additional 5% transaction fee charged by PayPal that will be added on to the rental amount. If you’d like to use your credit card or pay through PayPal, you will need to let us know in advance so that we can send the request (rent + 5%) to you before you leave home. You’ll have to pay this before leaving home because PayPal blocks access when you try to use your account while overseas.
We ask for a $100 USD deposit for short-term bookings. Please see our Rental Terms and Conditions for further details.
A very strategic location, The Loft is located on Paseo Colon which makes grabbing a cab or choosing a bus (there are tons with stops just below us) easy as can be. Walk two blocks up to Plaza Dorrego, the main square in San Telmo, or two blocks down to Puerto Madero.

The Loft, it is a magical place, and so are its wonderful owners..This place is amazing..such a wonderful energy, and helped us fall in love with Buenos Aires and make it a home..We came for just a short stay..and now cant seem to leave…Gonzalo, Natty, and Angela..are three of the sweetest people We have ever met in our travels,
It is worth staying just to meet them and for the chance of Gonzalo’s bbq’s! They helped us with whatever problems we had, no matter how small, any time day or night..You can not go wrong here..Take a chance, and you will be greatly rewarded..

Great central San Telmo location! Market, Square, and Parrillas nearby. 20 minute walk to the subway, which makes travel to Palermo and Palermo Viejo a breeze. Plus, Angela is the best!!
