The Pad
We’ve got a two-bedroom pad in the same building as The Loft ready to house those who need a little more space. The wall of windows in the living room give it excellent light and a nice breeze. The decor matches this light and breezy feeling, making The Pad a peaceful sanctuary perfect for those who want to feel like they are living in Buenos Aires, not just visiting it.
The building is one of the oldest and best preserved in the neighborhood. Back then a floor was much more than just a place to throw down some carpet. They were part of the decor. Thought went into the design of these original tile floors.
The kitchen is fully stocked with an old 1950s refrigerator, a microwave (for reheating those amazing meals you couldn’t finish the night before), a stove and oven. The skylight from the terrace highlights the mosaic designed wall.
Have breakfast at the bar in the morning light, or head up to the terrace and get some sun. The terrace is on the third second floor. The terrace is a great place for a romantic dinner or a small dinner party.

What makes The Pad special is the details. Stained glass windows, vaulted brick ceilings, and artistic touches throughout. Natalia has outdone herself again!
The upstairs bedroom can also serve as an office or study. Just turn the bed into a sofa and pull the desk to the window.
And the master bedroom is bigger than my entire apartment (well, almost). So many of those who’ve stayed with us this past year in The Loft have come to Buenos Aires to write. The Pad is peaceful enough to inspire, roomy enough for you to get a change of scenery when you’ve reached a block, and quiet enough to make you feel like you’re in the country instead of this city of millions.
We’re working on updating our website to show more of The Pad. We’ll announce it when we’ve finished. For now, here’s a taste of our newest addition to the family: The Pad.
To see these pictures and others, head over to San Telmo Loft on Flickr. We’ll be adding more shots of The Pad soon.

I absolutely love the pad! My friend and I are coming to study international law and economics at the UBA and UB, and we’re looking for a chic place. Is it available for rent longer term (mid-march thru june/july)? I’d love to see more pictures if you have them.
Hi Madeline, Yes, we do rent them for longer periods of time. I’ll send you an email so we can check dates. For more pictures, we’ve put up about 28 on Flickr here http://www.flickr.com/photos/26263563@N05/sets/72157611539592056/ and we’ll always keep adding to them.

Hi Sabrina,
I just sent you an email. The Pad is booked, but I may be able to help you find another place. Let me know if you are set on staying in San Telmo or if you’d be interested in staying in Palermo/Belgrano (towards the north).
Cheers,
Angela

Hi Marcello… we’ve got WiFi in both of our apartments. We also have speakers for iPods or MP3 players (music is important on vacation)!
